The mission of Manor House School is to provide an educational
placement for students between the ages of three and eleven
who are making insufficient progress in public school. Our
intensive use of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
(ABA) is designed to address skill acquisition and reduction
of maladaptive behaviors that interfere with being in public
school settings. Our program elements include:
• Extended day (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) •
Extended year (12-month) •
Low staff to student ratio (1:1) •
Comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis •
Highly trained and experienced staff in ABA and Autism •
Extensive parent and referral district training during
both term of enrollment and transition back to district
Additionally, our mission is to provide a child with autism
a crucial opportunity on the educational continuum to make
sufficient progress before he or she is deemed in need
of placement in a residential setting. Our students have
but one goal, to return to their neighborhood schools as
quickly and appropriately as possible with the skills and
behaviors needed to resume learning alongside their peers.
